Daily Prompt: All Grown Up

When was the first time you really felt like a grown up (if ever)?

Good question now that I am in my 50’s lol…

To fully grow up, I pray that I always have room to grow and learn.

Could it have been my first job at an auction as a waitress where I was not asked my age and worked for years before I was really old enough?

Could it have been when I went for my permit to drive?

Could it have been when I obtained my drivers license on the first try?

Could it have been when I got married?

Could it have been the birth of my first daughter when I sensed my life changing forever?

Life is a building block that is constantly growing.  That is part of growing up.

Are we ever really all grown up?  I ask my readers their thoughts on this matter.
