I am many things: a writer, a mother, a wife, a certified nutcase.  Well, maybe not certified.  No one ever had me tested.  My characters exist in my head like multiple personalities.  I deal with my insanity by putting it on paper for others to read.

Stay tuned tomorrow when I explore my next blogger

There is lots of fine dining from burgers and fries to four star restaurants… within walking distance after you park in Nashville, TN so bring your walking shoes and enjoy.

If you have a military ID then you have no problem getting onto base at Ft. Campbell, KY, which is a city of it’s own.

Daily Prompt: No, Thanks Everywhere is a Learning Experience

Daily Prompt: No, Thanks

by michelle w. on March 3, 2013

Is there a place in the world you never want to visit? Where, and why not?

Since there are wars in the world right now, it is obvious that I would not want to go to a war zone as a tourist.  That country does not lack beauty in its own way though during a peaceful time.

Every country is rich in beauty if you seek it.  Just ask http://www.nationalgeographic.com/.  The people who work for this company make a living by telling you the grandeur of a country and it’s short comings.  They are blessed to have the financial backing to travel to the farthest ends of the earth to document beauty. Here are their Spring 2013 findings

Daily Prompt: Choose Your Adventure Ending

Daily Prompt: Choose Your Adventure

by michelle w. on February 6, 2013

Write a story or post with an open ending, and let your readers invent the conclusion.

Thanks for the great idea, warturoadam77p!

Today has truly been an adventure.  As she had never gone on a honeymoon with her first marriage, she had always dreamed of going to the Bahama Islands.  Her children had heard her say so many times growing up that on her 30th birthday that was going to be her birthday present to herself.

Following a rather smooth divorce and a lot of years alone with her daughters away at school, she found herself again remarried and with no honeymoon. They had wanted to save up for the items in the house that they needed to start a fresh marriage and the honeymoon became a microwave, pots and pans and other household items.

Looking back now at that time, it seemed that it had been the wiser decision after all.  Today her hubby had walked in and announced that for their 25 wedding anniversary which was coming up in two weeks she had a choice to make.

Did she want to go to the Bahama Islands that her children had suggested, or did she want to go to Costa Rica.

That was the one thing that she had talked about since they had met.  She had talked about the Housekeeper that her daughter had employed while she lived with her daughter for four years. During that time, she had learned about the culture in Costa Rica, the lifestyle and they ways of the country.  This had become a new option in her life and hearing about the cost of living there had made it all that more enticing to her.

Now she was faced with a difficult decision as she looked at the travel brochures that laid scattered across her bed.  The Bahama Islands or Costa Rica, which would she choose.  Her heart tugging in two directions, she was faced with a difficult decision.  Her hubby would be home that night anticipating a decision.

All day she had walked past her bed, stopping to read a little then walking away.  The thoughts were swirling in her head.

As evening approached, they sat down for a lovely dinner to discuss their days events.

She was hoping that the topic would not arise.  To no avail, it did.  She had to decide…

Which would you choose?  Let me know.
