New Day and Traumatic Too…

You do not think about how traumatic it is to be relocated when you are not the new doggie…

Hubby wanted to take her for a ride today like he does Trina and wanted her to feel like part of the family.  She must have thought that he was taking her back to the shelter.  He said that she shook the entire way.  Thank goodness they only went just down the road and came right back.  She was so relieved to be home.  She came in and checked to see if her food and beds were still here and her tail has not stop wagging…

She has decided to hide in the bathroom from hubby which is located across from my office and I just look around my file cabinet every so often and say peek a boo to her to get her to wag her tail.

You do not realize the traumatic effect that it takes on the poor baby till something like this happens…in time, I hope that she will adjust and will feel comfortable.

Trina actually hugged her in the truck to try to comfort her.  I think that she is just so excited to have company now that she does not want anything to happen to her…

How can people abuse animals when they are so fragile…

I do not understand…
